Meet at 7:55 am for a 8:10 am start

Roll up for the mystery tour! Step right this way! This is a hilly, scenic tour of the coast with aerial views of the ocean and break-taking climbs and descents. Rest stop options every 20 miles or so, so bring money and enough on-board water/food to handle the tour. You've got everything you need. Satisfacton guaranteed.

As with any weekend, there may be cycling events occuring at the same time, so check your local cycling event calendar if that is a concern. (Last weekend in Woodside we encountered two charity cycling events on our route.) Lots of elevation, so the bike/wheels/tires should be bullet proof.

The magical mystery tour is hoping to take you away.

RSVPs sincerely appreciated. Firm departure time.

After that we continue to the west side of Berryessa and we stop for lunch at Spanish Flat Deli @ mile 80.

Following lunch we pick up 128 south (Capelli Valley) and turn on to Monticello doing the half we didn't do in the morning. Again, keep alert for the left turn back on to Wooden Valley (mind the oncoming traffic!!!!) and follow the breadcrumbs back home.

RSVPs requested for cue sheet count. Carpool if possible. Depending on turnout, there may be a slightly slower contingent, hence the co-leaders. Chris will pick up the rear, but will keep rest stops short if that's what it takes to keep up/catch up with M pace leader.

We'll start at the firehouse (Skyline at Colton in Oakland) and do an out-and-back to the Niles Canyon end of Palomares: Skyline to Redwood to Heyer to Central to E Castro Valley Blvd to Palo Verde to Palomares. Mapping notes: ridewithgps won't let me map past Marcel on Redwood but will let me map from Palomares to Niles Canyon. Does this mean that Palomares is open at the end? Alameda County Public Works is still showing it closed. We'll find out on this ride. We've been on Redwood twice in the last week and can get through.

This is a placeholder ride for planning only. The leader needs to update it with more information.

Meet at the Starbucks in Cordelia (near the CostCo) at 8am for an 815 departure. See route at https://ridewithgps.com/routes/20659715

We will head out Green Valley Road and pick up Suisun Valley/Wooden Valley north. Turning left on to Monticello we eventually drop into Union for the first stop around mile 27. After a quick espresso (or whatever) we head up Dry Creek to a screaming decent down Oakville Grade. Another quick stop in Oakville for water (mile 40).

We then cut across to Silverado Trail and head north to Howell Mountain and on to Deer Park/Cottage (a different route than the Knoxville Kx which takes Old Howell. We eventually join back on to Howell Mountain Road. The Pope Valley Store is at the intersection of Howell and Pope Valley @ mile 61. A quick stop there (keep alert.... the store/intersection is at the bottom of a steep decent).

Ride out to Pinole, along San Pablo Dam Road and Pinole Valley Road.  Our goal is to get some riders who may cringe at riding the hilly 'bears route'; but who would like to do about 30 miles to maybe get back into riding again. Faster riders are welcome, too...just save me a Bear Claw! Bring a friend.
