Meet at 7:45 am for a 8:00 am start
Start Location: Cotati - Gravenstein Hwy Park-&-Ride (Westside)
RAIN DATE UPDATE: Given the higher than expected PoP and my concern about descending Geysers in the RAIN, I am contemplating a postponement until Monday. I will make the call mid-afternoon after seeing the updates from NWS.
UPDATE #2: Per NWS as of 4pm, the PoP has, in fact risen. It now stands at 50% for the area around Geysers at the time we will be climbing/descending. In the interest of safety, the ride is now POSTPONED until Monday (everything else is the same except for Arnim's race to the finish :-) )
Been wanting to get up to do Geysers before I leave the area... gonna to it clockwise this time in part because i've never done it in that direction (and in part because it let's us climb rather than descend the bad parts of the road).
Ride with gps: https://ridewithgps.com/routes/30068825
Stops at the Safeway in Healdsburg, something in Cloverdale, and Jimtown.
Arnim wants to be back at his car by 5pm for his kid's birthday so we're gonna try to help him stay out of trouble!
Please RSVP but I'm not planning on bringing route sheets unless requested. Note that we may tweak the inbound and outbound routes a little to avoid traffic & turns so i would recommend not downloading the route until the night before.
Meet in the Park&Ride @745.... roll @8. Hope to see you there!

Meet at 9 a.m. at the Union City BART station by the ticket machines ready to ride. (Leaders plan to be on train arriving at 8:53 a.m.) We'll cycle about 20 mostly flat miles from Union City BART, along Alameda Creek and into Coyote Hills Regional Park. (approximate route here https://ridewithgps.com/routes/18593834). Bring binoculars and water; also bring both snacks and lunch—there is no food available for purchase, and lunch may be late. Coyote Hills is good birding in most seasons, but we have not birded there by bike this late in the season. Bring locks in case we want to take short walks. Helmets are required. Restrooms are located at the BART station, at a staging area along the creek, and at the Coyote Hills Visitor Center, where we will eat lunch. This birding ride is co-listed with Golden Gate Audubon. Cathy Bleier will be co-leader.

Friendly but hilly workout & skills ride. We have two pace groups — M and B — each usually with its own leader (Mark and/or Nick for M; Matt for B). Either group will give you a sustained hard workout and will help develop your skills in climbing, descending, drafting, pacelining, positioning, and sprinting. Please read ride details and route description at http://www.abriz.net/gpc/tues-ride.html. RAIN CANCELS.
