Meet at 9:10 am for a 9:20 am start
Start Location: Milpitas BART
Pre-registration
UPDATE:

NOTE that due to BART construction delays between South Hayward and Union City stations now scheduled for this weekend, we have revised the route. Here is the new ridewithgps link. Ride will now start from the South Hayward BART station. Check back later today (Friday) for the revised link. Plan to arrive at South Hayward on the train arriving at 9:12. Route will likely skip Calaveras Wall and head for Palomares Canyon and then on to Berkeley. 45 miles. Weather forecast for Castro Valley is 89.

Let's take advantage of the last weekend of 1/2 price BART fares by rolling from the Milpitas BART station all the way back to Berkeley and beyond. Lots of miles and hills between here and there, including the Calaveras Wall, Palomares Canyon, etc. We'll roll at a moderate TM pace -- not too slow, not too fast, juuuuust right. Brief lunch stop will be in Castro Valley, bring snacks to see you through to there, and of course two water bottles with your choice of liquids. The last time we did this ride the group headed off in multiple different directions once we hit Pinehurst, but leaders will ride to Sibley and then decide whether to head down to Rockridge or to take Grizzly Peak Blvd back to Berkeley and beyond. Route is here -- please download or print your own, leaders will not have them available for all at the start. Meet at 9:10, roll at 9:20ish -- plan on taking the BART train that arrives at Milpitas station at 9:06. Pre-registration is appreciated. Rain will cancel -- contact the leaders the night before if the weather forecast is iffy.
