| Description | From Walnut Park (So. Petaluma Blvd. and D St.) in Petaluma, ride a loop to Tomales. The ride finishes (almost) with a short, steep and very scenic path from Helen Putnam Regional Park back to Petaluma. To avoid HP Park, stay on Chileno Valley Rd to Western. The pavement on Spring Hill Rd used to be really bad, but it has since been repaved and very pleasant. To avoid the bad pavement on Spring Hill, so we created a variation to use Middle Two Rock Rd to avoid the worst part of Spring Hill which adds about 2 miles, and another variation which avoids Spring Hill entirely. We continue to list them for historical reasons. |
