| Description | This ride combines some of the best and hardest of both paved and unpaved rural Sonoma County's coastal hills: Austin Creek Rd and Cazadero Hwy, intensely challenging climbs on bucolic Fort Ross Road, and a fun descent on Meyers Grade to and along Hwy 1, followed by a car-free meander up Willow Creek Road (NO cars!), where the trail starts out paved, then becomes mostly dirt/gravel/leaves). Loop back to Duncans Mills via Coleman Valley Road (descending to Occidental) with a final fast, mostly flat home stretch along Bohemian Hwy/Moscow Road. |
