Tour of the Unknown Coast

The Tour of the Unknown Coast is held in the remote area west of
Avenue of the Giants. Most of it is on narrow two-lane roads
with almost no traffic. Some of the surfaces are good, others are a
bit dubious. The scenery is spectacular, with steep mountainsides,
cliffs, meadows. There is quite a bit more climbing on this ride than
on the Grizzly Peak Century.
If you can stand to drive for 4 hours past Santa Rosa, I recommend
this ride.
